TIPS & TRICKS

For faster speed in ticket search results:

• Narrow your ticket search
• Change your default view to a lower number of rows viewed (25 instead of all, etc.) via user configuration
• Change how many columns are viewed (if you don't need them, take them out of view) via user configuration

When using CRM Search within Quick Bar:

• Be sure to tab out of the current search box, i.e., when searching for "kathy" in the first name box, tab out of it then hit find; otherwise, it will continue searching since it is a "type on demand" search.

TIPS & TRICKS

For a wildcard searches in subject, comments, etc.

• Use %   For example:  %email%  would bring up any subject that had the word "email" in it.

If you cannot open a document from a ticket or KC.

• Find another item with the same extension on your computer and apply an "open with" type for that extension.  Cynergy Software allows for all file types, but your personal PC has to be able to recognize it and open it from internet explorer.
